Great article. Can you tell me how you did the complete system reset? I have the same exact laptop, which didn't come with disks, and want to restore it back to when I first got it, wiping the hard drive clean.

Thanks!

Hi. I am having the same problem you had yourself. I first got some viruses about 3 months ago. I had downloaded a anti virus program and got rid of the viruses but started to get alot of BsoD errors. I then used the "Restore to factory settings" that was built into my computer at boot menu, not with a disk. This restored my computer to how it was when i brought it from the shop only the BsoD errors still occur randomly or mostly when im playing sound or video. I would like to know how i can erase the hard drive and re install windows (or restore to factory settings). Note: I have since been given a new BsoD that will not even allow me to start windows up normally i am now using safe mode. could you please tell me where i can locate my original manual and disks online maybe for my computer if you know. Also how i can restore my computer to facotry settings while also erasing the hard drive.

thanks, Liam
